What’s This Blog About?
Adaptivity’s mission is to attack the complex problems of IT alignment, datacenter optimization, cloud computing and IT management using our Blueprinting products and Blueprinting as a Service offerings. In order to be successful in this mission we have gathered a diverse and talented team of thought leaders, architects, executives and consultants. This blog gives these talented individuals a chance to share their insights with our customers, both current and future.
As an independent firm, we look across hardware and software vendors, standards, consulting firms, analysts and the press to identify the technologies and trends that are making a difference in today’s Enterprise IT world. We discuss those technologies and trends and develop solutions that enable our customers to leverage them using our Blueprinting Software and Services. This blog should be one of those conversations: we want to give you a look into how our thought leaders’ insights on various trends and technologies impacting your environment and the IT industry and we also want to hear what you have to say in the comments. Our hope is that this enables meaningful discussions about the present and future of IT.
We will be focusing on technologies and trends related to:

Our industry experts and thought leaders look at these offerings and general IT trends and discuss how to rationally gain value from the cloud.
- Datacenter Transformation – The last dozen years have seen trends in server consolidation, Green IT, virtualization, automation and private cloud result in smarter and smaller datacenters. Even years after their first steps though, few companies believe their datacenter transformations are finished. Our seasoned industry veterans will discuss how to speed progress and avoid common pitfalls, even in to those tough areas like mission critical applications.
- Business Alignment – In most organizations IT is not what customers pay for. Whether you work for a bank or a manufacturing firm, we will show you how to understand and leverage all the latest IT trends and technologies to enhance your core business. The way Adaptivity Blueprints align technology decisions to your business helps you look past the walls of the IT department and go from necessary evil (cost center) to valued partner in the eyes of the business.
- IT Management – Technology is no longer the biggest problem for most Enterprise IT shops; now it’s become just as important to understand how to assemble the people and processes necessary to select, implement and maintain these technologies. Our industry experts and thought leaders will discuss both tried and true and emerging ways to manage IT.
